The design of the low-cost housing was part of a large study conducted for Zambia by Enav Planning Group. The design was based on the need to solve the social-housing issue in different parts of Zambia, at a very low cost i.e. under different climatic conditions and catering to different social structures and patterns. All the houses were designed to be systemized and have the option of growing.
