The Independence Arch in Accra, Ghana, is part of the Independence Square which contains monuments representing Ghana's independence struggle. The square includes the Independence Arch, Black Star Gate and the Liberation Day Monument. It was constructed in 1961 by G.N.C.C, a subsidiary of Solel Boneh International Ltd. with Ghanaian collaboration.
